Help Your Pet Fight Fleas Effectively
Pets who scratch more often may be experiencing a flea infestation. To treat fleas in pets, you can try using specially formulated natural and organic shampoos. Just make sure to use cold water when rinsing the shampoo. Warm or hot water can exacerbate itching, while cold water can help in alleviating inflammation. These natural treatment methods can also work for either your dog or cat.
Rosemary Flea Dip
Take 2 cups of fresh rosemary sprigs, boil them in water for half an hour and strain the liquid. Add the resulting mixture to 1 gallon of water.
Once the solution is warm but not too hot, pour the water on an infested dog and let it air dry.
Lavender Essential Oil
Place a few drops of the oil at the back of your dog’s neck and at the base of the tail to control a flea infestation.

4. Efficient Tick Removel Tick Stick
For those occasions a tick needs to be removed, we recommend the Tick Stick.
Ticks bore into your pet’s skin using backward-pointing spikes that can make safely removing them difficult. If you try to remove a tick by squeezing it and pulling it out, this could cause the tick to secrete more saliva into your pet and pieces of the tick’s rostrum could remain embedded in your pet’s skin.
The Tick Stick allows you to actually hold the tick (without compressing it) and remove it by using a twisting, rather than a pulling motion.
Why is the twisting motion so important? Ticks anchors its rostrum into your pet with backward-facing spikes. So, if you try to pull it out, the spikes work against you locking the tick ever tighter in place. And if you continue to exert more pulling pressure on the tick, the rostrum could break… potentially leaving tick body parts in your pet’s skin.
The twisting motion allowed by the Tick Stick takes advantage of the tick’s rostrum structure. As you twist, the spikes bend into the axis of rotation, making it easier to remove the tick.
